STOP the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) from making Fixed Indexed Annuities (FIAs) into a registered security!

In cooperation with the Coalition of Indexed Companies, we have succeeded in creating draft legislation in the United States Congress. This proposed bill, drafted by New York Congressman Greg Meeks, clarifies the exemption for certain annuity contracts (including FIAs) and insurance policies from Federal regulation under the Securities Act of 1933. If passed, this law would keep the protection and safety many consumers need and currently enjoy in their Fixed Indexed Annuities today
